In our noise tests, the BreatheSmart 45i measured just 25 dB on its lowest setting — effectively silent in a quiet room. Even on medium, at around 38 dB, it's unobtrusive. We ran it in a bedroom for two weeks and found it genuinely easy to sleep through, even for a light sleeper on our testing team.

The auto mode is well-tuned. The built-in air quality sensor detects changes in particulate levels and adjusts fan speed accordingly. When we introduced smoke into the test room, it ramped up within seconds and returned to low speed once the air was clean. It's responsive and intelligent.
